This is a factual stub, not finished legal text and not reviewed by a lawyer. It states plainly what a Vanshee licence grants, based on the actual product and code — and it deliberately does not invent warranty disclaimers, liability limits, or dispute-resolution clauses. Those, and the marked placeholders below, need the owner's decisions and a lawyer's drafting before this can be relied on.

Terms of Service

Draft stub · last updated 2026-08-20

These terms cover your use of Vanshee, a native macOS application that orchestrates AI coding agents. They are provided by Filipe da Silva, an individual established in Portugal ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using Vanshee you agree to the terms below.

1. What your licence grants

A Vanshee licence is a one-time purchase of €99 that grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app, with:

These figures match the product as built: the price shown on the site is €99, the licence type issued is lifetime, and the default device limit in the licensing code is 2. The amount actually charged is set by the Stripe Price object, which must be configured to match.

2. What your licence does not grant

3. Your own subscriptions and API keys

Vanshee orchestrates AI agents you already pay for; it does not resell tokens or provide model access. You are responsible for your own AI provider accounts and API keys and for complying with those providers' terms. Your keys are stored locally on your Mac and are not sent to us (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Running code on your machine

Vanshee's agents can run commands and code locally on your Mac when you permit them to. You are responsible for reviewing and authorising those actions and for any effect they have on your system, files, or accounts.

5. Licensing, activation, and enforcement

The app activates your licence against our servers and periodically confirms it is still valid, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may disable a licence in cases such as a refund, chargeback, or abuse; a disabled licence stops working after its offline grace period ends.

6. Refunds

If Vanshee is not for you, email fgalego@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.

The licence is disabled when the refund is issued and stops working after its offline grace period ends, as described in section 5. If you are a consumer in the EU, this refund is offered in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you may have and does not replace or limit it.

7. Warranty and liability

Stub — needs proper legal drafting. The software is provided "as is", without any guarantee that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Formal warranty disclaimers and any limitation of liability must be drafted by a lawyer for your chosen jurisdiction — no specific disclaimer language or liability cap has been invented here.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you buy as a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions in your own country of residence.

9. Changes to these terms

This is an early stub and will be replaced with reviewed terms. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
